I am so very righteously angry over this continuing Christian versus gay argument, now after Jason Collins had the courage to come out in a hetero-privileged, Christian-privileged (and there can be no argument about that, truly), macho/masculine-privileged American society. So let me just say it boldly and with dignity: I am a gay Christian. Chad Gurley is a gay Christian. My life has not been perfect nor has it been easy or without tragedy. But nevertheless it all, the joys and the heartbreaks, I am proud of who I am, who my parents raised me, and who God has called me to be: A loving human being with Grace. I only pray I can give some little tiny piece of hope to others; the hope that God has given to me.
