i've felt the pain of the world the last month
something new around every corner
some surprises
others packages that should have been opened sooner
some were my own
others were for his and hers and theirs as he and she and they also suffered around me
some that I caused
others that I tried to soothe
some were personal
others were global
in and out of the days of this month
there was some new pain around every corner
i see now
they were all growing pains
cliche or just right on the mark?
